This year our paddle raise
will benefit the Friends of
West Haven Library.
Known to many in the community, the Friends of West Haven Library is an organization made up of volunteers who raise funds through donations and two annual book sales. Each year, they do the following to support the local community:

Purchase all the museum passes for the library patrons to check out

Supply the funding for paid speakers such as authors and performers

Sponsor the summer reading kick-off & finale
-
Purchase prizes for summer reading programs for kids
-
Purchase supplies and materials for many themed programs such as Winter and Halloween

Purchased signs for main library
-
Materials for literacy backpacks for parents
to checkout -
Collaborated with the Rotary Club on the 1000 Books before Kindergarten Program

Cielo Ballroom, West Haven, CT
Tickets are $55.00 per person and include
dinner and open bar.
